As I'm around on the site for a bit, I'd thought I'd fill you guys in on the transfer front 


Big rumours coming out atm that Diarra will be signing very shortly! Apparently it's pretty much a done deal and the rumour has been floating around for a couple of weeks now. Someone said he will be getting the No. 24 shirt and another has said it'll be announced to the stock market on Tuesday.


On the striker front... We were quite close to getting Vucinic but Levy wasn't prepared to pay over the odds for him, which delayed the deal, allowing Juve to come in and he chose them over us    All is not lost though as we're working on a deal with City to sign Adebayor, the wages are a major sticking point though and were trying to get City to pay part of his wage, so if we do sign him it will be a loan deal with an option to buy come the end of the season. He's mates with Diarra apparently. Llorente's name has been floating around too, as has Rossi's, but we don't have a chance with him tbh.


As for the outgoings.... There's talk of Jenas extending his contract as he has happy to be back-up apparently and Harry doesn't urgently want to shift him. There is a lot of interest in Dos Santos on the other hand, so Im sure he'll be gone by the end of the window, most probably to Seville if they can stump up the cash. Not heard of any interest for Bentley...unsurprisingly... It seems Palacios could be on his way out (to stoke), although the deal may hinge on Diarra signing. Some interest in Keane from Blackburn, one rumour saying that Keane and Hutton will both be going to Villa shortly, but that's just one rumour... I only tend to trust them if there's lots of rumours about the same player and club.


I post this in good faith, been following it for years now and it tends to be correct. Leandro deal won't happen this window btw, Inter want him till the end of the Brazillian season (Dec/Jan), but we may well be able to get him in January. And we had a £14million offer for Assou Ekotto apparently! It was rejected though ofc.. PSG were also interested in Palacios at one point, which would have been a big sale, but unfortunately they got Moussa Sissoko from Juve instead.

Oh before I go.. there's some silly rumours flying about... Apparently we're trying to sign Samba and Barton?! Looking for cheap deals though, with us wanting Samba to be involved in a part-exchange with £5million as well (i guess bentley and keane are the players offered), but Blackburn want more like £10million.

wouldn't mind Samba, but wouldn't be thrilled either. As i've said earlier, i think we need to really push the boat out for Llorente; he's just coming into his prime, and he's good with his feet but big and physical enough to win balls in the air and not get pushed around here in the Prem. If Llorente is the only player we sign this summer, i'll consider it a successful transfer window.

Expect Keane to LA Galaxy done by tomorrow morning! The MLS transfew window closes by 5am tomorrow, lots of rumours saying its done and is a matter of finalising it in time.


Dos Santos to be gone on Monday too to Sevilla supposedly.


Will free up wage bill. Still unsure as to whose coming... Diarra gossip has trailed off Adebayor most likely I'd say. But no-one really knows

The Club has announced that Robbie Keane has signed for L.A Galaxy.

Diarra will probably end up at Roma, we might get Ade
but whatever happens it will mean another all night with my ear to the radio on the 31th of August.

I think we're gonna get them both and a surprise player as well preferably in defense. If we do that and add Leandro in January, the club have done as well as possible.
