The search for a new Manager starts now.

Read this story which is most likely rubbish. But it makes you think Harry is certain to leave in the summer. Surely Levy must be thinking about a new Manager now which I believe is why we spent so little in the recent window. Who do you guys think the new bloke should be. My money would be on David Moyes, but I would love to see Martin Jol back, this time without anybody as Director of Football though I cant see it happening http://www.football365.com/news/21554/7169531/Arry-For-The-Euros-

As I pointed out in the shoutbox, some reports say Redknapp could be brought in right after the qualification stage, which means mid-season.

I would take Jol back but firstly I cannot see him linking up with Levy, neither can I see him deserting Fulham. Moyes could be the answer but despite lack of funds he really seems to love being at Everton.

Some would probably think that Klinsmann would be a good choice and in a nostalgic way he would, but let's be honest, he is not a very good manager. And also we all know what happened to Hoddle, so bringing back a former star-player could really backfire on both parties. Though, I would love to see Sheringham as our manager one day. Too bad he has moved away from football, though.

Chris Hughton maybe... He is still relatively inexperienced for our level, I think.

Personally I think Chris Hughton would be a great appointment but can't see it, Moyes would be good too but I think he may well be holding on for a 'bigger' job when SAF leaves. Probably end up with David Pleat !!!!

One thing though hasn't 'Arry still got a court case hanging over him regarding tax matters, you know what the FA are like maybe they won't even consider 'Arry due to his dodgy reputation in financial matters !!!

Any manager with the following qualities will do:

knowledge of EPL

"          " of tactics and when to employ said tactics

an inability to allow favouritism to influence team selection

an interest in club advancement and promotion as opposed to personal advancement

an astute handler of the media as opposed to an embarassing loudmouthed media whore.

a willingless to shoulder at least some blame for set backs and not play the blame game

a good judge of a player regardless of age, origin as opposed to a buy what you know bargain basement strategy.

having a good youth set up and structure which sees promising youngsters allowed to flourish and integrate into the first team

have a rapport and respect for the club and fans who are his employers.

a manager who doesnt constantly belittle his club and their chances prior to a game

one without any pending corruption charges would be great as well.

I could go on but as they say my d**k is long but my time is short

rant over

Lets hope some proper planning is being done already with this one, maybe wheels are in motion as apparently media muppet Arry stated he didnt know about Sandro signing a new deal until he read it which indicates great man management and also that the club is kinda shutting him out a bit?

I cant see Arry staying especially if the FA come in for him.  I can see Levy going for Sam All...dyce.  Personally I would like to see Martin Oneil come in but biggest preference would be Martin Jol but the latter just wont happen, I mean after what happened would you return?
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

I have thought for a while that Mourinho could be the man to come to Spurs next year.
1.) He stayed at Real Madrid for 1 more season,
2.) He wants to come back to the premiership,
3.) He would want the challenge of taking a different side to the top, which means either us a big challenge, manc a bit of a chelsea copycat and already on their way or liverpool who have recently acquired their new messiah,
4.) He has a soft spot for spurs and has always praised the way we try to play and the squad

This is not to say that I like him, or particularly want him to come, but he is of proven quality and would attract some good players to us. Of course this is very unlikely but can't shift the feeling. If this does not happen I think  Ancelloti, Moyes, or Hughes would be good choices.

The dark horse contender and someone who I think would do a great job and is doing well at the moment. Gus Poyet.
Maybe next year...

Chris Houghton was a dreadful asst manager and was the common denominator when we were playing so badly for so long. The only reason he got the Geordies promoted is because he was managing a prem team in the championship. You or I could have got them promoted.

That said, he is better than the treacherous Jol, who for some strange reason so many Spurs supporters love. I can only think it is because he has a big smile, because he never won us anything. In fact he spent most of his time trying to move on in order he could earn more money. Mean while he had lost the dressing room and planted the club firmly at the bottom of the table.

I agree that it won't be long before we lose Arry. Like someone said, maybe that's why Levy didn't want to spend any money. If Arry doesn't fall out with Levy and walk, or get put in prison, he will probably get the England job.

The real problem is that I don't think there is anyone better we could attract.

Sometimes I think you're Gareth Keown in disguise. Please show some respect and try to spell the man's name right.
