i live up north and to see my team then it is usually away games like at wigan and bolton.  not exciting compared to other fixtures but i find it increasingly difficult to getra ticket at the lane.  Id love to go and see the boys more at home but its  a question of ticket allocation and i am down the pecking order.  as much as the lane is the home of the club i would love to see us have a stadium of 60+and if it the olympic one then so be it.  Its a tough call for  the club to want to move but finacially it makes sence.  You know the club, team and the ground are what we make it.  History and tradition is one thing but they are a business and i have a lot of time for mr L and his business prowess.

I'm in the same situation as you mate with regards to where we live,  i agree with you

Let me put it this way for you, what is the one thing that we lambast Ars*nal the most for? Being a South London club in North London, there is no way that I want to become anything close to what they are, we are a North London club and a North London club we should remain. And Gary Keown it is untrue that the majority of Spurs fans do not live in North London and as for your whole point about regenerating Spurs' support by bringing in 21st century fans that is ridiculous, you should know that one of the things Spurs as a club hold in high esteem is their history and the fans make up a large part of that. We have some of the best fans in the league and so what is the need to change that?

Tottenham the whole area is a s**t hole, from seven sisters to northumberland park its all s**t, I live in Enfield and it puts me off going having to walk past the scummy estates on the way from Northumberland Park station, the overground trains are rammed solid on the way back!! at least at the olympic stadium there will be underground links, unless you live in Tottenham then I cant understand any reason for wanting to stay, and if you blive in Tottenham you need to get out lol, I know you dont know any better but maybe having to travel around london to get to our new
stadium may cause you to see much nicer areas to live in and maybe cause you to leave Tottenham job centre behind a get a job.

Anyone?

....Are you GK with an alternate ID? I notice that your join date and number of posts roughly coincide with GK's "probation".

Im still up for the Olympic Stadium! FGrom our last financial report do we really have the funds to invest in a new build?  or does Levy have a master plan regarding outside investment and sponsorship.

One thing is for certain to move forward we do need something doing ground wise, much as I love WHL and its history it is dated and too small, it is our history not our future.
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

Well for one thing im not happy if they move out of WHL before i got the chance to visit it. Either way they say the move would benefit supporters due to transportation issues. Which makes me think.. is our current place such a dump? Im sad if it was true.

West london Derby against West Ham not as fun as North London derby against Ars*nal .. lol

I dont come from London, but i love Tottenham and White Hart Lane. It is a manificant ground which is historical and traditional and a pleasure to visit time and time again. I would much prefer to have the new ground built up in North London at the Northumberland Park area then go to East London at the Olympic Stadium. We Are Tottenham, North London. I would really hate it to see us moving like many other fans i have spoken to. It would be better for transport and travelling to and from the game at the Olympic Stadium but White Hart Lane is our home and if we leave it will take peice of our history from us. I love The Lane its a 'proper' football ground, so what if the surrounding area is s**tty, it adds to the atmosphere and teams dont like going there to play us! YID ARMY

Would an Olympic stadium be "state of the art". They aren't typically. It's just good sized with too few bathrooms. I wouldn't expect there to be much in the way of amenities. The new WHL certainly will be though. Yes it will cost more, but isn't that the stadium that the players and fans really want. Seems like that's the way to move forward and attract elite players and season ticket holders.
