Truly magnificent hat trick from a world class footballer .I guess the inevitable transfer of the best left sided player in the prem will be talked about non -stop . In the meantime its just a pleasure to watch such magic week in week out .

Why are you so worried. I just thought that VdV will coax Bale to stay. He can tell Bale why moving too early would be bad for his career!

CountPuchi - Couldnt agree more mate. If we bring in more big names and world class players im hoping Bale will want to stay. He will be sold at one point (who knows when) but until he is sold we can enjoy watching the great skill and ability the kid has because he truly is a special talent. I already hate all this speculation about 'his price tag going p' etc etc and the media asking questions, if and when we do sell him (hopefully never!) i hope he goes abroad because i would hate too see him playing at another Premier League club! moving too soon would have been 2yrs ago for Baley..... he is very intelligent, emotionally mature, and physically strong enough now to play anywhere he wants to....

if he stays at Spurs beyond this summer then he is making a mistae..... a team that will always be 50/50 when it comes to a Top4 position, earning less than a third of what he'd be paid elsewhere and missing out on a great personal odyssey of playing for 1 of the world's mega-clubs..... who knows he could break a leg 1st game of next season... where would his dreams be then ??.....

if the right bid comes and its for a move to R.Madrid, Barcelona, Inter, Ac Milan, Juventus or even Chelsea, then he needs to SERIOUSLY consider it...

and if Levy passes up the Olympic Stadium, then he definately needs to think about the bid too.... we will need every penny spare for the next decade to pay down the 100m+ debt..

The title of this thread deserves much credit. Well done JLP.

I also think what you said is very fair. Nobody will know what is really going to happen but the fact the lad is happy and enjoying himself suggests to me he is no rush to head anywhere for a year or two yet. In the meantime if we actually progress further as a team that may be enough to ensure he remains longer.
