Andros Townsend has signed a season-long loan deal with Ipswich Town. The 19-year-old goes straight into Roy Keane's squad for the Championship clash with Burnley on Saturday.
Townsend, who came through the Spurs academy, is yet to make a first-team appearance for the Premier League club.
Keane told BBC Radio Suffolk: "He looks nice and bright but I'd say let's be patient, he's still a young boy but he'll be in the squad for the weekend." The Spurs midfielder started last season on loan at Leyton Orient, making 26 appearances and scoring twice during his five-month stay, and joined MK Dons for two months in January, getting two goals in nine games.
His only other loan move came in March 2009 when he scored once in 10 matches for Orient.
The left-sided player has been capped at Under-16 and Under-17 level for England and is currently part of the Under-19 setup, making six appearances.
