Transfer Deadline Day.
« on: August 31, 2010, 07:46:14 AM »
10 Hours or so until the the window shuts.

It's not looking to great...

Huntelaar - signs for Schalke
Ashley Young - Deal Looks Unlikely
Jenas - Up in stoke today
Adebayor - We are interested in a Loan deal
Scott Parker - We are attempting to make another Bid
Pienaar - another bid may be made, because he still hasn't signed a contract and now David Moyes is favourite for the Aston Villa Job
Muntari - Apparently we are in talk discussing a fee

Lets hope we can get a big name... not looking so good so far.

Any news on Keane? Harry has said he would not let him leave but rumours say something else. What is your source on Jenas?

Adebeyor is even worse than gallas. Can we pick any other players that epitomizse the arrogance and vileness of Ars*nal players than this puke ball. I want to die. This is getting embarrassing. >:(

You know, I really don't understand why people think that we should buy/sell at last minute. What is the point of selling (for example) Keane and bringing in someone who is unfit, needs half a season to settle or even worse - is injured. Sorry, this is sheer idiocy. So, on this transfer deadline day I hope we can keep our players and avoid signing any mercenaries such as Adebayor who is nothing but trouble. The man went to ManC for big money, then suddenly he did not start the first game of the season and wanted to be transferred elsewhere. Come on!

I have no idea what a DDOS attack is but it sounds a bit like a girl with large breasts attacking us? Is there any video of the attack as i would like to watch that one day?

Said all of that on Sky Sports News.

Jenas thing isn't true because he turned up for training.

Man City have said Adebayor is staying at City

Pienaar is still an option

Redknapp said on Sky Sports News, any deal is looking Unlikley, but we will see what is avalible

what the fug is this flamin obsession with the only quite good but gorgeous (great cheekbones)  Scott Parker .... has old Arry got a boy-crush on him or something ??... another CM ffs why  ??!!

we have  Thudd and Modric as our 1st-choice.... then we have Palacios who is more than a good enough backup, as well as the more than adequate backup to the backup Jenas.... and now even a very adequate by all accounts backup to the backup's backup.... THATS 5 CMs

Parker ??.... WHY 'ARRY WHY ???

WE SHOULD BE FOCUSSING TODAY ON GETTING A TALL FORWARD WITH AT LEAST SOME PACE/POWER TO PLAY UPFRONT WITH ANY OF DEFOE, PAV.... EVEN DOS SANTOS.... CROUCH TOO IF NEEDED... these are the ones available at very short notice:-

Iaquinta (loan deal easily possible, as Juve looking to ship out)
Jay Bothroyd....... Prem-class talent
Zamora
even Gomez on loan
Saha (not tall but still pacy, experienced, great abilty... price factors in injury record)

just 5 off the top of my head in about 3mins to write this... theres gotta be more out there for a club with research, contacts etc available on a continental scale .......

Levy... you need to prove youre more than a shrewd operator.... you need to be a DYNAMIC one now too...

I feel like I'm in BizarroWorld. Ever since the Wigan game - I have to agree with pretty much everything you've had to say!
He's strained his left adductor muscle it says. Whats that then ? Do we all have those or just footballers ? I wonder how mine are ? *courtesy of taimedowne*

youre starting to discover the way of the universe Wilson... ;)

looks like our search for a fast, tallish, sorta powerfulguy who can kick the ball HARD at goal may finally have ended...

step forward Ryan Babel..... a good choice too..... time to loan Keano back to Celtic now methinks..

News in Italy is that Milan are hastily trying to sell Borriello to make space for Robinho. Juve and Roma interested but only as a loan. Spurs and Liverpool quoted as negotiating at this moment in time.

I guess Borriello matches Gareth's definition of the big strong forward with pace....

Word is... he is in a helicopter right now on his way to London...

but it hasn't been confirmed if it spurs where he is flying to now... but we are interested all they can say, is that spurs did make an enquiry.

Now I'm reading 9M pound offer for Babel who is en route to London. Liverpool looking to use the cash on Carlton Cole...

He went to Liverpool three years ago for 11.5M, right? At 23, he seems to have plateaued. Surely we could have gotten him for a little less if, in fact, that's actually a deal.

YYYYYEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS

Babel is actually almost a perfect fit for our strikeforce..... good pace, great powerful shot, Prem and CL experienced, right age, right price at 9m, should be able to link well with any othe other 3 strikers: Pav, Defoe, Crouch.... after Fabbo, I think we couldnt have done any better at all...

Gallas, Sandra, Stipe, Ryan...... the season begineth noweth..

Amen.
