you forgot to add the bit where he practically begged, bullied and cajoled Michael Duberry, a key-witness and fellow teammate then,  to perjure himself by lying in a criminal-court to save his sorry hide - I take it he was fully sober by then mind...... Duberry was the one who was made the victim ultimately when the club and teammates turnED their back on HIM...

what a brave brave boy dearest Jonathan is..

So, are AuburnSpur and Gareth Keown the same person? Seriously, Gareth Keown, I think you only joined this board to wind up people. But of course, to each his own. It really is stupid to bring up Woodgate's court case which was 10 years ago. I mean, everybody has made mistakes and I would say that it seems that he learned from it.

And when you come to think of it, you probably don't rate King either because he had a drunken scrap with some Asian bouncer as well and even spent a night in cell.

Woodgate has played very well for us, not to mention the fact that he scored our most important goal of 2008. So, if it really is the end of the road for him, I am happy that we had such a great player.

All I did was google his name along with "controversy" and paste the article that answered the question asked.  I know absolutely nothing about it and didn't even read the article.

Auburnspur you didn't answer the first question, let me remind you that your under oath Auburnspur.
Auburnspur I don't think you wan't to admit coming up with your id name, as it is laughable, what are you a rednuts, but afraid to call it what it is, auburn seriously, or is this a girls id name, in that case sorry mam no offence.

You sound like a poly, I know absolutely nothing about it and didn't even read the article. What are you running for office?, that lame defence won't get you anywhere, I believe full well that you read what you wrote, as firstly you admitted to cut and pasting it, what did you do it with your eyes closed, secondly you were looking for that sort of controversy, and you knew something of this nature would come up, why else would you google 'controversy' with his name, thats all I did, you did wrong, just admit it, you can't play dumb here. Are we to believe you googled his name along with "controversy" and pasted the article with no knowledge that something 'controversial' about Woodgate would come up, you know exactly what you were looking for, If you describe something or someone as controversial , you mean that they are the subject of intense public argument, disagreement, or disapproval. In this case it was dissapproval for Woodgate's actions.

/size]Also the most damming piece  of evidence is when you cut and paste from an external source the editing font  sizes, type etc come up, which don't appear in your pasted article, so you have  removed them manually by going through it and deleting them, which, you would be directly going through the article, reading it.
I have cut and pasted these from an external source, so you can see the editing. .

I rest my case....

apparently if Oswald Woodgate isnt fit by January, Levy is thinking of getting in Marlon King who Arry feels is very good in the air and has even more pace then Dawson.... also has good experience of defending space in congested areas nowadays and has potential to play in central-defence...

would be criminal not too really..

We all new this was going to be a risky deal. He did well for us in his 1st season played in the majority of games as I recall. Since then he has had a tough time, It would probably be best for him if he called it a day. There's a lot of life to be lived after football and he is still quite a young man. If he's not careful he could do himself irreparable damage. Sometimes you just have to say enough is enough. Whatever happens i wish him well.

I graduated from Auburn University (Auburn, AL, USA) and am a huge fan of my alma mater, hence he use of Auburn in my screen name.  The question was asked for someone to expound on what they were talking about regarding Woodgate, so I found an article explaining what the poster was talking about.  Nothing sinister going on.  A question was asked & I answered it.

This whole racism thing really seems to fascinate you. Have you been racially abused or something? Racism is appalling but to see a racism conspiracy everywhere is not very healthy, is it?

Decry racism against Gallas and then resort to weak stereotypes about the South.  Nice - Tolerant of all but those who disagree with you, just like a true man of the New Left.  VIVA LA REVOLUCION!  Were you glad to see El Presidente out in public again?

Also, I'd be in heaven if my punishment were to eat gumbo.  Cajuns may be nuts, but I love their food!
