True enough. But I don't like it when Zokora dives :p

That said, Zokora's far from the worst offender. Thierry Henry, Cristiano Ronaldo, Milan Baroš, Mauro Camoranesi and Didier Drogba come to mind for me.

The minnows seem to be doing better than usual lately. Luxembourg only lost one-nil and Liechtenstein beat Latvia today, then there was Kazakhstan beating Serbia on Saturday. So I think 3-0 is decent, even though we were sh*t in the first half.

Unfortunately when Gerrard has his back pressed against the wall, for example Sheffield United on the first game of the season, he will do whatever it takes too avoid defeat, and that also includes diving.

Its a shame though cause he doesnt need to do that, he's a world class player. Diving is no way to win a game, no matter what.

its a shame he dived, but there is no other player in the team that could of scored his second goal. and because of his dive we're forgetting that he was the player who won the game for us!

COYS, his 2nd goal wasn't that great, just two simple touches and a placed finish....

Any proffesional footballer could do it.

It was the control, skill, team work and the finish that made it so good for me. Plus by the way he was running, he left himself totally open so the keeper could see what he was gonna do and Stevie still executed it perfectly.

Why do we even need four defenders and a holding midfielder against Andorra anyway?
Hargreaves was not needed, all he did was slow our game down. Ferdinand or Richards shouldn't have played and we should have gone 3 at the back.

Downing is not England quality. Lennon and Gerrard showed why they should play where they are naturally suited. Johnson IMO was ineffectual and Defoe was alot more lively and deserved to start. Rooney responded well to the abuse he got but he had another poor game.

McClaren must go. He cannot motivate the team, picks shocking tactics and always attempts to put a positive spin on things. The fans were right to boo, the way we were playing against a pub team was shocking.

Things must improve. 3-0 but a s**t performance.

:yeahthat:
i agree McLaren must go, downing should not be wearing an england shirt, he is only playing because he is left footed and imo wayne rooney has been completley crap the last few games. Lampard is s*** for england aswell.

McLaren needs to be sacked
Becks needs to return

Beckham, your having a laugh. All he can do is hoof the ball 50 yards.

I'd like to see them try this formation. 4-3-3 basically.

---------------Robbo--------------
-----------------------------------
Richards----King--Terry---A.Cole---
-----------------------------------
--------Hargreaves-----Carrick----
--------------Gerrard-------------
Lennon-----------------------J.Cole
--------------Rooney--------------

I think this could work, with Gerrard making his forward runs supporting Ronney.

Rooney cannot play on his own upfront, he cannot drop deep which is his strength and he gets isolated. He needs someone pacey up there so that rules out Crouch who is NOT England quality. I know a Real Madrid season ticket holder and he has said since being dropped Beckham has been quality in centre mid. He has got energy, can tackle and can pass a hell of alot better then Hargreaves. Plus we benefit from his set pieces which were terrible on Wens.

Beckham cannot tackle to save his life IMO. The team needs to move on without him. Real Madrid fans are the most delusional around, and when ive seen Madrid on TV all Beckham does is hit long balls or take free kicks. Never does he try and beat a player. We have players that can offer a lot more.  But thats my opinion.

As for Rooney if he is a so called talent he should be able to play anywhere. He had Johnson upfront with him in the last 2 games who is very pacey and played sh*t. So obviously thats not the case.

With the formation I put down, he would have support from Joe Cole, Lennon and Gerrard so he wouldn't be isolated.
