I think Adebayor's problem is a complete lack of confidence at the moment, you could see by the expression on his face that he is so desperate to score, if he can find the back of net I think he will start to score again, Defoe is having the same problem, he can score for England but just can't do it for us. Its just the Strikers curse. Van Persie is having the same problem, not that I give a stuff about whether he scores or not, I don't think he has scored for about 9 games.He did score for Holland, though. So, pretty much the same scenario as it is with Defoe.
We cannot rely on other teams dropping points, we have to ensure that WE DO NOT DROP ANY, by doing that we are then the Team in the Driving Seat applying the pressure, not the reverse!!!

Verthonghen was quality from day 1. He was the same at Ajax, our best signing for many a year for sure. If only we had 2 full backs and a striker as good as he is.
