Title: Another take on transfers
Post by: RiffHard on February 04, 2013, 12:45:28 PM
I found this interview with West Ham's co-owner David Sullivan (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2271803/David-Sullivan-bullying-threats-violence-agent-demands-transfer-window.html#axzz2JsCffMLR). After reading that I'm not very surprised we didn't manage to bring anyone in. Agents really are like leeches and I think football would only win were they driven out.

Probably half the reason we didn't get Moutinho or Damiao

As I have pointed out in other posts; we don't actually know what goes on when Directors or managers deal with transfers; however, fans prejudices want a certain thing and if they don't get it they  then foist their anger on those that are doing the dealings.
