Sorry for the lateness. I couldn't get online before I headed off to the game this morning.

Only got to see the highlights on MOM2 and what it showed we played some nice football for a change!, should have scored a couple more. :)

Didn't get to watch the game, but apparently we played better. They missed a sitter at the end, which is a worry still with our lack of goals.

We played well and deserved to win. However, and saying that, we still have problems up front. We do still need another striker in the transfer window. But we won and that is all that counts. Next we face City away.

I thought it was a good game yesterday and I think we are gradually getting there. Our next big test will be against City.

I thought it was a good game, but we still have a long way to go.

That is what God is for and the wise; so what do you want to know? :hide:

Spurs could do with some of that God magic. Seriously though I thought the Southampton game would have seen a sea change, but back to square one we went. Sunday we've got Newcastle, surely we must win? Saying that didn't they beat us at White Hart Lane last season? I know we got our revenge on their ground later on in the season.

If we had a proven goal scorer then I would have said, yes we can win against Newcastle. At the moment it is like throwing a coin in the air and seeing what side it will land on.  :'(

Very difficult to have any really. Now he can't even take a penalty. Were we really doing the right thing in selling Defoe ??

Yes, but we should also have bought another striker.
