I love Defoe, but will plumpt for Keane. He just shows a lot of passion and commitment and always seems to pull something out of the bag

Why not both? 3 top system suggested!!!

Why always stick to 4-4-2 system?

I suggest here 3 top 4-3-1-2 formation.

Keane is brilliant. I like him. BTW Why does't he roll himself on ground after scoring nowadays? I really like the goal ceremony. It absorbs attentions.
But, can Keane dribble, skin defenders and get a goal? I'd say no.

Berbatov is an artist on the ground. His passes and shots make wonderful sceans. But, can he do such things above? He either.

How about Defoe? He can!!!. He can skin a couple of defenders and shoot and get a goal like ronaldo in M.-U.

We can use three of them on 4-3-1-2 formation. I would call it POWER TH FORMATION (SQUAD).

                        Robinson

Chimbo      Rocha (King)     Dawson      Lee

Stalteri      Jenas (Huddlestone)       Lennon

                        Defoe

              Keane       Berbatov

Game or play maker is Jenas. I think Huddlestone is better. But he has been injured. Jenas directs everything from defense to attacks. A ball starts from him so to speak.

I would like to see Stalteri as right wing as I suggested in the other post. I think he can play the part. He will move well as a right wing, I think.

Lennon can move as left winger as well as right winger. No doubt about it.

Keane and Berbatov are in good harmony. They make chance and get goals. Also Defoe - Keane - Berbatov triangle should work to make chance and goals.

While Keane and Berbatov are in good chemistry, Defoe can get a score for himself. He can dribble, skin, shoot. But, he can be also in harmony with Berba and Keane also and Stalteri and Lennon.

When Stalteri and Lennon moves down to the goal of the other team, it will be 'attack pentagon'. Of course it can move and reshape like amoeba.

Our team can take both of 442 and 4312. 442 for usual teams and 4312 for strong team. When in 442, Zokora, Tainio, Marblanque, Gahly can play as midfielders. Such uses of players will be good when we are in tough schedules.

Mido can play in stead of Defoe. Mido seems not so good this season, but he is good 'header'. He is better than any one else about heading. But, as I understand he is likely to leave TH sooner or later.

What do you say to it above?
POWER TH FORMATION is likely to be for big 4 in epl.

Our team is strong to weak teams and weak to strong teams. I think it's sort of good in terms of devising strategies and tactics.

Football is interesting!!

p.s. I even thought of Defoe as right winger. But, he seems to be a little slow and also he is somewhat small. If Defoe is right winger, both wingers (lennon and defoe) are small which is not good, I think.

I think they can both be guilty of missing sitters and giving stupid balls away but for me Robbie shows more passion and never stops running his backside off even when he's having a nightmare of a match and nothing's going right for him.

Defoe to me is the better 'Striker', because when you put him down to score, he will 9/10 score.

However, I would pick Keane in front of JD anyday. This is because Keane's work rate and commitment to Spurs compared to Jermain's is out of this world.

As someone mentioned above, Keane goes looking for the ball, and sometimes even tracks back to try and retreive it, whereas Defoe stands up the other end of the pitch waiting for it to come to him.

Keane anyday, tons more commitment.

Defoe is good but i think he is 1 of these who is playing alot more for the money than for enjoyment of the game. Dont think he would care too much who he was playing for.

keane by an absolute country mile!

Puts ina 110 per cent evry game win, lose or draw whereas defoe can turn it on when it suits him, otherwise just lazy.

Keane loves playing for Spurs as hes already mentioned would love to finish his career with us.

Proved on countless occasion he's got a better chemistry up front with Berbatov, who let's face it is going to be playing a hell of a lot more than Mido any season.

Vice captain of the club, would be a much bigger loss to the club, not just the first team than defoe would be.

Proved he can stick it out on the bench and still stay commited to our cause when he's needed.

And finally is just a better player anyway than defoe is, more technical ability.

Also whats happened to Barnard this year? He was knockinon the front door of a first team place last year and now nothings been mentioned of him this year.

Surely cant do any harm to have given the lad a run out? No worse than Mido anyway :dunno:

Jermain Defoe. Although I love them both.

Keane has only scored 3 league goals this season which weren't from penalties.

However having said that, I think Keane works better with Berbatov then Defoe does, but Berbatov works better with Defoe than he does with Keane.

Always have been, always will be a Defoe man. Keane has always been a favourite of mine but JD will get you more goals. I'd love to keep them both but I doubt this can go on for much longer.

Defoe is the better goal scorer, while Keano has more tricks up his sleeve.

Still think Keane and Berbatov work better than Defoe and Berbatov..

Keane to stay. He's always been one of my faves & is more of a 'team' player than Defoe.

ive only started to rate defoe the last few games his played where hes created some chances, but still i think keane is the better team player. Defoe is the player that when he is on goal and has the chance to play it back to someone in a better position just goes for goal. I think this is the difference between keane and defoe. keane thinks about the players around him as well as goal.

he also gets into some great positions :)

Football is a team-sport and Defoe is a bit far away from being a team-player. 9/10 of these occasion you talk about he would try to skin two defenders and shoot even though there's an unmarked Spurs player in the box ... And naturally, because his shots are all power fluke-based he will miss the goal in 50% of the occasions ...

And we stick to the 4-4-2, because both Lennon and Defoe suck at defending ...

Agree. I've said this before in another post,
Defoe is only in it for himself, whereas Keane wants to win for the team.
