Title: PS4 v Xbox one
Post by: Chelmsford_yid on May 22, 2013, 08:33:54 PM
I know there are a few gamers here. Any views on the news of these consoles?
I would write down some info about what's in them, but I'm not home at mo.
Will do in the near future.

I have opted not to look at the new consoles as they will be silly bollox price for the first few months, so am gonna stick with my 360 until the piss taking price at launch drops.

I've heard £300 for both console, which isn't bad. PS3 was £500 when it first came out!!

If you want to buy/play a 2nd hand game on the Xboxone there is a £5 charge.

Thats not too bad I guess, just another way of squeezing more dosh out of us gamers, bad enough now that most games are low content on disc and you have to buy DLC, nearly as good a money making scheme as starting Star Wars at Episode 4 lol

Indeed, I only play 2 games. Fifa 13 & F1 2012 both of theses new series will come out on the 360 & PS3. So I will prob keep my 360 for another year.
I have a wheel for the 360 and would still like to use it if F1 2013 comes out on the 360 as the wheel prob wouldn't work on the Xboxone.

We'll see I suppose, I'll prob get the ps4 first for a change.
Hope Christmas comes early haha!

Just read that the Xboxone is due out November 2013, I guess the PS4 will be around that time too.

Price is too high for myself and I'm happy with my 360 for a year or maybe my bday in May ;) ;)

I dont play games consoles as much this year so I am sticking with my 360, still yet to complete my third season on Fifa 13 dam usually by now have completed around 6 seasons so cant justify the expense tbh!

PS4 and Xbox are not the only choices.
There are a couple of companies developing machines to run on the Steam OS which offers PC gaming via a console and controller rather than keyboard and mouse.
