Title: Martin O'Neill has left Aston Villa
Post by: RiffHard on August 09, 2010, 05:23:30 PM
As the title says... (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/a/aston_villa/8898993.stm) Well-well-well, that should really turn things interesting. Does it mean a veto on all transfers or does it mean that the club will start selling and buying big. Time will tell.

What? seriously?

This must mean they are selling Young to us. He said he would leave if they sell young

I think this will spark off a must bring and buy at Villa. Hopefully we can off load some deadwood with them and it looks like were going to pick up Young off them but i dont think we really need him.

Rumours are he wasn't getting any of the Milner sale to strengthen the squad, which is ridiculous, don't they have a history of tight ass chairmen, Learner would be crazy to let Young go also, it would make it even harder to attract a decent new manager.
