Oh for a striker. Its becoming clear that we will need to score more goals then we concede each week if we are to get anywhere, as clean sheets are like long hot summers for us.

Defoe just cannot play alone up front. He is a great striker of the ball but by no means intimidating centre forward required with this formation.

We should have clearly sealed the score in the first half. Why didn't we? Sluggish yet again,  as if tomorrow would do.
Yes we need a srtiker, but let's wait and see what AVB has planned for Ade when he comes back.

So much possession in the first half that this game should have been dead and
buried by half time.


But we paid the price.
Think Adebayor might get some time on the pitch on Sunday.
