     I have just looked on the Palace Website and there is no announcement on there. So maybe there is a chance of us getting him back, I am sure that I read somewhere that we have a buy back clause.  :nods: :nods: But I could be wrong. ??? ???

Caulker coming back would be great news, but as he's English I cannot see how we would pay less for him than Cardiff did. Mind you, a certain Adam Lallana who turns 27 cost Liverpool £25m, so I very much doubt that 22-year-old Caulker would still cost £8m. Of course, I could be wrong. We all could.

Seeing as we've not been linked with Caulker, then maybe there's a good reason. He doesn't seem to have progressed at all over the last season.

It seems Dawson doesn't want to go. Two years left on his contract, with a possibility of a Testimonial he won't see any point in leaving. Unless they offer him compensation.
I’ve lived a life that’s full. I’ve travelled each and every highway;
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Regrets, I’ve had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

The rules are the rules. If he is due a testimonial then he must get it, whether he leaves or not.

But he is only due it if he gets the extra number of years in; leaving will mean he won't get there.

Ah, ok. So there's a catch 22 situation. Maybe us and Hull should split the cost or it'll never get sorted.

How I've read it is that Dawson will go providing he gets something extra out  of it.

 Yes, as I said compensation or extra's.

He has indeed joined QPR seems the lure of playing with Rio Ferdinand was to hard to resist.
