Somehow, I don't think this will fly. If it does, I won't be a happy camper, and I'd imagine a lot of Championship sides would agree. This is part of the fun of the Premier League - seeing who can make it up after each season.

This is one of the most stupid ideas I've ever heard. Only some of the introduced future innovations of FIFA have been more ridiculous.

Agreed on both points.  :2up:

Just because a bunch of greedy hacks have bought Premier League teams doesn't mean they suddenly get to decide the path football takes in it. They can go EAT THE CHEESE, NICHOLSON! for all I care :P

Matter of fact, I wish football in North America (Well, Canada and the US - Mexico does have it) had promotion/relegation.
