Woodgate 'to miss rest of season'
« on: January 30, 2010, 06:45:11 AM »
Jonathan Woodgate could miss the remainder of the season with a groin injury.

"I don't know if we'll get him back before the end of the season," said Spurs manager Harry Redknapp

Woodgate has played just two league games this term and has gone to the US for a month to work with a specialist to try and cure the injury.

With Woodgate's injury and Ledley King's ongoing knee problem, Spurs are trying to sign defender Younes Kaboul.

"There's a deal there for Kaboul," said Redknapp. "I've been speaking to Portsmouth manager Avram Grant.

"Avram said, 'we need to sell them Harry because ... otherwise we're in trouble'," - a reference to Portsmouth's perilous financial position.

Spartak Moscow's Croatia keeper Stipe Pletikosa is also arriving to see the Spurs' medical staff before the transfer window closes on Monday.

The 31-year-old, Croatia's first-choice, damaged cruciate ligaments in training in August and needed surgery.

I have no idea what a DDOS attack is but it sounds a bit like a girl with large breasts attacking us? Is there any video of the attack as i would like to watch that one day?

Woody will be a big loss but i've got a lot confident in Daws and Seb now. Gomes is playing well as are the two i've mentioned as well as Charlie and Bale. I think we look solid at the back these days

Defensive game, Ekotto/King/Woody/Corluka is the best but 2nd best would be Ekotto/Daws/Seb/Corluka.

Attacking game Bale/King/Woody/Corluka :) We can swap Bale and Ekotto based on what match and who we are up against.

Let woody recover 100% just like they are doing to Hagreaves @ Manutd. It might take time but when he is back i doubt there would be any problem

I really really hope so, but he has SO many injuries in his career i fear the next one won't be far away ala Kieran Dyer
