I introduced myself a few weeks ago and posted a message, but nothing seems to have been registered. I'm a former foreign correspondent who covered a couple of wars in the Middle East. Before that I was a football reporter, mainly covering the club that should remain unmentionable. As a youth, I witnessed a great double winning team. Therefore, covering the exploits of the unmentionables ( clue: they play in red-and-white) during the 70s was Purgatory for me. I have to admit that under the Frenchie they have improved somewhat, but then back in the 70s the only way for them was up.
