Depending on the game we could play Bale on the right, Modric on the left and have Sandro and Parker in the middle.

It depends who we are playing and whether we are home or away. But I would like us to give up on 4-4-1-1 with VDV behind the front man.

If we play our traditional 4-4-2 then my starting 11 would be: (VDV could play instead of Modric or come on as a sub)

                         Friedel
Walker         Dawson      Kaboul        BAE
Lennon       Parker        Modric        Bale
   Adeybayor      Defoe


Or to try something different we could play 4-3-3 (Either with two DM)

                           Friedel
Walker       Dawson         Kaboul           BAE
         Parker      Sandro
      Modric
     VDV            Adeybayor             Bale


or with 1 DM

Since his England injury he has been awful. To be honest if you take our best eleven we have a pretty good side capable of top four. The reality is though that we will have injuries. Already we have about 8 players and all we have done is pick the ball out of the net so far. We don't have quality in depth, and that is going to cost a decent position. Hay but never mind, Levy has made a few quid for the share holders !!

No, I think that Kaboul and Dawson given time could be an awesome CB pairing and with Sandro in front of them as extra cover the heart of the defence would be safe as ........
