« on: December 23, 2010, 03:18:47 AM »
Again probably only paper talk but Chris Samba to us for around 7 Mill as he is unsettled, now I have to admit I havent really noticed the chap so I am wondering what others in teh know think of him being an addition to our back line, what he would bring worth it or not etc?

Cheers
THFC "COYS" and that is all I have to say about that!

I rate him, big and stong at the back. Chips in with a few goals aswell.

I have no idea what a DDOS attack is but it sounds a bit like a girl with large breasts attacking us? Is there any video of the attack as i would like to watch that one day?

I wouldnr have him as a 1st choice ahead of Kaboul, |Gallas, King, Bassong (on leftside).... and not sure he'd be content to be backup..... might mourn to the Press and unsettle the squad...

a 'no' from me..

Could be the end of Ledley if he comes, and if I'm honest I think it would be good business by us as Gallas will only have another 1 maybe 2 seasons max, and that would give us 4 good quality young CB's in Dawson, Kaboul, Bassong and Samba.

Hate to say it but I agree with you Gareth. Not a player to improve the squad. I think Boltons Cahill is in the same category - good player but not better than anyone we already have.

I dont think he would massively improve our squad and also for 7 Mill! I would price him at about half that. He is a good player though, very strong, no nonsense defender who can tackle well and puts in the effort and also scores the odd goal but i think we could get better.

I'm not convinced we need another bench warmer and he's not much more than OK. I wouldn't say no if he comes but neither will I get excited.

dont think we need him if woodgate is fit again as being reported we have plenty of choice at centre back
