Well Baldini has finally been brought to account, and for me not before time. Maybe now Poch and Paul Mitchell between them can restore some sort of normality to our transfer policy.

Yes, but he won't be leaving until the transfer window closes. I believe that his last job is to get rid of Ade.

I’ve lived a life that’s full. I’ve travelled each and every highway;
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Regrets, I’ve had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

He will be going when the transfer window closes in September.

I have a few Spurs apps and it was one of them that said it. I think it might have been News Fusion: Tottenham News. You also might find it on the web page NewsNow: Spurs transfers. As far as I remember it didn't come from Tottenham (the club) itself.

Since writing the above I found this on line for you:

http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/franco-baldini-keen-to-take-a-break-from-football-after-tottenham-exit-a2472941.html

As you will read; it says when the transfer window closes in September and then he is taking a break.

I don't know why he is waiting until the transfer window is over, unless that is when his contract is up and knowing Levy as we do I wouldn't be surprised that that is the case. Baldini has been a failure at this club.

Glad to see him go as he was part of Spurs problems, Levy also for employing him.

Howdy,

In my day it was down to the manager who picked the player. Bill Nick travelled all over the country to see a player, and then that player was approached and normally he jumped to be given the chance to play for a great team like Spurs. Nowadays they have to try new fangled ways, European ways. I argue this with my kids and all they reply is that the past has gone. We had a saying when we were young, if it isn't broke then don't mend it.
