All in all I would dare to say potentially the best transfer window we ever had. Wanyama and Jansen have already shown good promise, and if the pace and ability of NKdou and Sissoko come to fruition then we may have found at last the way to break down stubborn defences and turn our domination of games into goals.

I think the purchases we have made are good. Pochettino needs to get them working the right way, but great potential. Looking forward to the season.

At least we got our man in the final hour, instead of missing out; like usual.

I think that depends on how you look at it. When he played for Newcastle he was in a crap team (apart from when they played us and beat us 5-1) and it created a knock on effect. But he was/ is a good player. He proved that in the European Tournament. And he also wanted to get out of Newcastle and play for us (even though the manager wanted to keep him). I think he is a good buy and I think he is a good edition to Spurs. We are a lot stronger than we were last season with what we've bought over the summer.
