There incomes are greater because first their is TV money from the Champions League as well as prize money each round and gate revenue. Being in the Champions League or being a name, Liverpool have a name in Europe, means they get better sponsorship deals.
Ars*nal have 20 odd commercial partners, Man Utd have over 50, we have something like 13. We are not a name, we do not eat at the big table and we can't build a stadium until we are, as we can't attract the money.
If we want to increase revenue and we are over £100 million a season behind Ars*nal then Champions League is a must. If we don't get it players leave and we start again. It's the be all and end all of football finance these days.
