Well from the sounds of it they should all be fit which will be good. The important thing will be keeping Darren quiet as he would love nothing more than to score against us. Thankfully our squad seems to be getting back to full fitness which will be vital when it comes to our games vs the Top 3. I would expect us ton line up like this.
---------Gomes
Walker-Daws-Seb-Bale
Bentley-Hudd-Wilson-Modric
--------Pav-Defoe

I'd maybe play BAE at right back this week just due to his experience. Walker did look good going forward, but wasn't tested defensively. BAE will be more solid defensively so with a tough away game approaching I would give BAE the nod over Walker

Can hutton play? sometimes when players are on loan they can't play against the club that loaned them

Corluka, Dawson, Huddlestone all out and Palacios is struggling to get fit according to the BBC. Defoe returns so we have a fair few injury worries at the moment especially at the back and midfield but we need to get the job done. I think there will be a few goals and end in a draw but it would be brilliant if we can get the 3 points to take into the 3 awaiting games against the top 4. We need to keep Bent quite because he will love it to score against us and will be chomping at the bit.

Agree, its a "must win game" but the injuries in our defensive and midfield ranks doesn't fill me with a lot of optomism now  :-\

Who we going to play at the back? Kaboul along side Bassong?

Who's going to play in centre midfield without Hudd, Jenas or Palacios? Kranjar and Modric?

We have the quality, we need 11 big performances tomorrow to get the job done as in 3 points. A draw would be.... ok but a win would be fantastic.

COME ON YOU SPURS!!!

Yh some wierd guy trying to advertise stuff, I deleted the post. Anyway, heres the team news from the official site.

Quote
Jermain Defoe is back - but Harry Redknapp is without key players for the trip to Sunderland.

Our top-scorer this term returns to the squad after recovering from a hamstring injury but Harry faces a headache in central defence and central midfield as he prepares for Premier League clash at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.

Unfortunately, the injury list again includes Tom Huddlestone, who is struggling with the ankle problem that kept him out for the best part of a month recently.

Michael Dawson is ruled out after an Achilles problem forced him out of the action against Portsmouth last weekend. Captain in recent weeks, 'Daws' has started the last 27 matches - a run where we've lost just four games in all competitions.

Vedran Corluka joins the defensive absentee list after he was also forced off early against Pompey with an ankle injury.

Ledley King is on his way back from a thigh problem but with him still out, it means Harry is without central defenders Ledley, Daws and long-term injured Jonathan Woodgate plus possible central defensive cover in Vedran and Tom.

"Michael picked up an Achilles injury last weekend and Tom Huddlestone's ankle has blown up again, so they are both out," reported Harry on Friday.

"Ledley is doing okay, he's not available but he's getting there. Hopefully he's not too far from fitness and we're going to need him if Michael's Achilles doesn't improve.

"Woodgate is out long-term and Younes Kaboul is cup-tied for Wembley, so we're short of centre-halves."

Harry's problems are not just defensive though as Wilson Palacios (adductor) looks likely to miss Sunderland and Jermain Jenas (groin) is still out - alongside Tom - so all three central midfielders could be out.

"It's a problem but we've done really well without so many players out injured," said Harry. "We've managed to keep picking up fantastic results and we'll see how we go again at Sunderland."

Aaron Lennon (groin) also remains out but the positive news is that he's progressing well. ""Yes, he's coming on well, he's improving," added Harry. "Yesterday (Thursday) was probably the best day he's had.

"He's worked hard with the fitness coaches and he's getting there. He's improving day by day, but we won't be taking any chances with him."

We Really need to winn this one to give us a boost going into the games vs the top 3.
"It is better to fail aiming high than to succeed aimin low. And we of Spurs have set our sights very high, so high in fact that even failure will have in it an echo of glory."

Without Dawson we have lost leader at the back!

Who will be captain today?

Gomes, Modric or maybe Defoe?

Forget it, without Daws, Woody or even King the back 4 is disorganized! Ive had it! We didnt close em down. We let em run with the ball. We Give em too much possession. But Gomes made a point to Bent. He cant score even if his life depends on it. 3 Penalties! 3!! only 1 went in! f**k you Bent, im glad Gomes made you sad at the end of the day! on the other hand... Why oh why.. did we play.. Palacios if he is too scared to get that yellow. Its holding him back! Just let him get it and get on with it. We cant have our enforcer being scared to get the ball! Our midfield was bad.. wait it wasnt bad.. its Fugly bad.

Man we neede a result today and we were poor!

Its going to make it mighty tough to regain 4th. This result leaves us needing City to drop points now and piles more pressure on the Ars*nal, Chelsea and United games!

I love you Gomes. You made that t##t look stupid!!
