Rumours of Big Squad Changes Again
« on: June 16, 2014, 09:48:58 AM »
More and more reports are coming out that there are going to be some big squad changes this season, with the likes of Soldado, Kane, Townsend, Dawson, Chadli, Capoune to name but a few not being in Pochettinos plans.

If I was honest I wouldnt like to see any of these move on as Kane is showing great promise, we all saw a glimpse of Townsend  and Chadli and Capoune gave some decent performances last season, Soldado I feel must be given another season.

With so many players rumoured to go then a fair few must be coming in, I hope Pochettinoa is given time to get it right as swapping our manage every season or so is no good!

I've read that, I've also read that he is happy to work with planers like Soldado etc. The other point is I doubt that Levy will let any play go if he can't get what he spent on them. To be honest I don't think that there is that much wrong with the players we got; they just needed time to settle in.
I’ve lived a life that’s full. I’ve travelled each and every highway;
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Regrets, I’ve had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

I agree with you on that one, last season the new players had a tough time of it, 2 different managers different playing styles each week often played out of position no wonder all struggled.

TBH IMO we need very little in the way of strengthening, a CB (would like Lovern) and LB for sure but then again we have BAE back so competition for that slot is required.

The likes of naughton, Livermore should be shipped without question other if they want to stay and put in a shift I think with the correct guidance we could have hell of a team.
