Apparently we want to get The Olympic Stadium and then knock it down.

I cant see anybody going for this idea. Are they all on drugs in the boardroom? They have not spent God knows how many millions on a lovely new stadium just to let us drive a bulldozer through it.

I have no idea what a DDOS attack is but it sounds a bit like a girl with large breasts attacking us? Is there any video of the attack as i would like to watch that one day?

Read a blog bout it..
interesting title too..

Though i think it would be the end of the club if they moved there. Sure business side its great. But technically the club would lose huge numbers of their loyal supporters.

That would be the pref of us all mate, I think the £'s are a fair few million more than the moving out option.  I have decided I am now against the Olympic Stadium becoming our new home was only for it due to business reasons but there is more to THFc than that!

no it would NOT be the pref of us 'all" as you so quaintly put it..

I couldnt give a monkey's about a stadium that has outlived its remit... we need a new state-of-the-art mega-stadium if we wanna compete with the top clubs.... and if that means getting the Olympic Stadium so be it...

I cannot understand these mainly predominantly white lower middle-class people that nowadays wouldnt be seen dead living in a s**thole like Edmonton and the adjacent area, have such a kinship to it.... they mostly all live in Essex (their spiritual homeland) and Hertfordshire....areas where they can cohabit with all the other petty-booojuuuseees driving white-vans for a living and 'oliday in Spyne....

WHL is very much the past.... the future is elsewhere (unless you have a spare 250m pounds you'd like to bequeth the club)...

I'm more of a 'supporter' than you narrow-minded experts...

and if you bothered to check the previous posts on a similar thread from some weeks ago, you'd then notice that quite a few thought as I did.. not just me. 8)

The point is not whether we should or shouldn't move to The Olympic Stadium. The point is that our plan is to knock most of the damn thing down and build another stadium in its place as well as redeveloping Crystal Palace athletics track. Also some M.P has suggested we would no longer be able to associate ourselves with Tottenham as we would not be in the borough. So that would entail a change of name. Something I would think the great majority of Spurs fans would be vehemently opposed to.

to my knowledge nobody has patented the word "Tottingham" so we could carry on calling ourselves that or anything we like...

as for knocking it all down, its really more a renovation in order to get rid of the running-track which English clubs tend to have a major phobia about.... obviously never been to the Stadio Olympico in Rome (when Serie A games had decent attendances, before they went the pay-per-view Live-matches route for every single game played)...

I actually think improving Cystal Palace and retaining an athletics capacity for EVERY WEEK/MONTH OF THE YEAR.... as opposed to the Spam Porn Barons idea of an athletics venue ONLY in the football close-season, is a damn mighty fine specimen of pulchritude indeedy...

both plans have plusses and minuses.... but on balance I really think Spurs' plan is better.... and the stadium will continue to be boost London image as a place where top European football will continue to be hosted for years to come.... and not used as an N-Power Championsip venue, that will attract crowds of less than half the stadium's capacity...

Leave Tottenham and you become Stratford Hotspur, local MP tells club

awesome title eh?
http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/jan/13/tottenham-stratford-hotspur-mp-david-lammy?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+theguardian%2Ffootball%2Frss+%28Football%29

Though i gotta say. Its true , its gonna be either Stratford Hotspurs or HotSpurs
or Spurs if we move. Although looking at news theres alot of criticism and rejection to that move idea.
