Hi fellow spuds,
I am new to this site and was just wondering how people go about making their user names. To get things going heres how I came to mine.
Colspur66. I live in Colchester and as you will gather a Spurs fan (Paxton upper season ticket holder for nearly 30 years now) and was born in 1966. Quite obvious really I suppose but there are many other names floating about that aren't quite so easy to work out.
Hoping for good times to continue at the Lane this season. I think sucess for us would be to get through the group stage of the Champs league and make sure we get another top 4 finish again. Would be quite happy to play the reserves/yougsters/fringe players in FA and Carling cups to give them vital experience as we look to build on last season.

Welcome to the site.
-
my usual user name for sites, etc
-
My first two initials are SP.
I used to have something of a gambling habit.
One day I walked into work and picked up my clocking-in card - a comedian had crossed my first two names out and written 'StartingPrice' in their place (the management had a barny, at me at first, until I explained that I didn't do it myself, and had no knowledge of it, and then at the workforce in general, as they couldn't find the culprit).
But it stuck as my nickname, that, or just SP ;)

It came to me over breakfast one morning. If I had that day again, I would have made something more Yid related.

Ermmm, well the Yid part is obvious, Joe is my name and the 24, well at the time I was on a Jamie O'Hara Hype. So there we go, welcome to the site mate, and great way to get to know people
