You make a good point and putting it that way I have to agree with you.
I’ve lived a life that’s full. I’ve travelled each and every highway;
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Regrets, I’ve had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

Fiorentina's Stevan Jovetic, 23, has replaced 31-year-old David Villa of Barcelona as the striker at the top of Ars*nal's summer transfer target-list.

Lampard has offers from around the world for when his deal expires this summer, and the midfielder currently favours a switch to Premier League leaders Manchester United.

Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas has admitted that Spurs must qualify for the Champions League in order to keep winger Gareth Bale, 23, from the clutches of other clubs, with Real Madrid preparing an offer for the player in the summer.

Brazil forward Neymar, 21, will not be joining Manchester City, his club Santos have said.

Aston Villa top scorer Christian Benteke, 22, plans to leave the relegation-threatened club at the end of the season. Ars*nal are believed to be favourites to buy him, although Chelsea and Manchester City are also interested.

Stoke goalkeeper Jack Butland, 19, may go out on loan for all of next season after the club said it would take an enormous offer to convince them to sell current keeper Asmir Begovic. Both Manchester United and Manchester City have been linked with the 25-year-old Bosnian international.

Fulham want to turn 29-year-old full-back Sascha Riether's loan spell at the club from Cologne into a permanent deal.

Patrick Vieira, 36, is in line for a surprise return to Ars*nal after manager Arsene Wenger spoke to him out about the job of replacing Liam Brady as head of youth development

Nottingham Forest chairman Fawaz Al Hasawi says that his decision to name Billy Davies, 48, as the club's fourth manager in seven months does not mean he is an interfering owner.

Roy Hodgson has closed the door on a return to the England team for 34-year-old Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand, in spite of the continuing problems the side are experiencing in central defence, including Gary Cahill's error against Brazil.

Ars*nal midfielder Jack Wilshere, 21, has taken a swipe at former England manager Fabio Capello, claiming the atmosphere has improved under Roy Hodgson and the national team are now reaping the benefits

Mario Balotelli, 22, has appeared to make peace with AC Milan's Paolo Berlusconi after the vice-president of his new team was accused of making racist remarks about the former Manchester City striker.

Former Everton winger Andy van der Meyde, 33, warned fellow Dutchman Royston Drenthe, 25, not to move to the club in 2011 as there are too many temptations for footballers on Merseyside in his opinion.

Real Madrid will step up attempts to sign Wales winger Gareth Bale, 23, from Tottenham if Cristiano Ronaldo fails to sign a new contract at the Bernabeu this summer.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers expects Luis Suarez, 26, to still be at Anfield next season even if they fail to qualify for Europe, after receiving assurances from the forward's agent that his client is happy at the club.

Liverpool and West Ham will have the chance to bid for Wilfried Bony, 24, at the end of the season after the Vitesse Arnhem striker failed to secure a move to Russia.

Ars*nal are eyeing a move for Feyenoord full-back Daryl Janmaat, 23, as the club consider possible replacements for Bacary Sagna, 30, who is stalling on signing a new contract.

Real Madrid midfielder Kaka, 30, has set his sights on a move to the United States, according to his brother Digao.

]Rafael Benitez will be in charge of Chelsea's game against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, but the Blues are considering replacing him with Avram Grant until the end of the season before bringing Jose Mourinho back as manager in the summer.

Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany, 26, has turned to a trusted Belgian physio in a bid to save his season. The defender has put his faith in Lieven Maesschalck as he looks to recover from an ongoing calf problem.

Newcastle boss Alan Pardew has expressed his "disappointment" at the physical condition of 25-year-old winger Hatem Ben Arfa.

Fans frustrated at the sharp decline of Wolverhampton Wanderers have organised a demonstration outside the Billy Wright Stand prior to Friday's game with Watford.

Real Madrid's former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, 50, is to have a street named after him in his native Portugal.

Once again RM are at it, trying to nick our Player, how is it that they are constantly allowed to get away with poaching our players. Last year Modric, this year Bale. When will that French Puppet (Michel Platini) do something about putting a stop to it.

Manchester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona will not offer Wayne Rooney an escape route if the 27-year-old striker wants to leave Manchester United.

City are one of only a handful of sides who could afford Rooney, but the Premier League champions are targeting Napoli striker Edinson Cavani, 26, and 27-year-old Atletico Madrid forward Radamel Falcao.

Rooney has set his sights on a move to Spanish giants Barcelona.

Rooney is no longer regarded as an integral part of Manchester United's future by influential supporters' groups, who believe Sir Alex Ferguson's decision to leave him on the bench against Real Madrid was justified.

Ars*nal manager Arsene Wenger could make a summer move for 20-year-old Auxerre striker Yaya Sanogo.

Chelsea are considering bringing Borussia Dortmund striker Marco Reus, 23, to Stamford Bridge.

The French league have handed Nice midfielder Valentin Eysseric an 11-match suspension for a dangerous tackle on Saint Etienne's Jeremy Clement last weekend.

Former Germany captain Michael Ballack has unexpectedly invited national coach Joachim Loew to his farewell match in Leipzig in June. The two men have a fractious relationship dating back to the 2010 World Cup, when Ballack was dropped from the German team.

Spanish fans watching Sevilla trounce Celta Vigo in a televised game on Monday night could be forgiven for doing a double take as pictures appeared to show Celta's former Chelsea forward Enrique de Lucas drinking a beer while sat on the substitutes' bench.
