Spurs got a much-needed win against a very poor Villa side. We are now two points behind league leaders Leicester City (who play Newcastle tomorrow). We are also the highest scorers, have the best defence and best goal difference. We are 4 points above third place, Ars*nal. We are 8pts above 4th placed: City. Nine points above 5th placed West Ham United. But there is still a long way to go and some difficult games coming up.
Spurs had 63% of the possession. Eight shots on target. Kane got the two Spurs goals. Villa stay rooted to the bottom of the league table.
I’ve lived a life that’s full. I’ve travelled each and every highway;
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Regrets, I’ve had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

We played well if not a bit casual at times and Villa could have taken advantage of that. 3 predictable but grat points.

Hopefully the lads won't be too tired to have a go at Dortmund on Thursday. The lineup will tell us where Poch's priorities are and with 3 goals down,  the Prem is the one for me.
