Title: 2013/2014 fixtures
Post by: RiffHard on June 19, 2013, 10:28:27 AM
Tottenham Hotspur will start the Premier League campaign away against Crystal Palace on August 15. We will visit Ars*nal on August 31 and host them on March 15. On Boxing Day we will welcome West Bromwich Albion and on New Years Day we will travel to Old Trafford to start 2014 with a big win.  We shall conclude our league season on May 11, with Aston Villa paying us a visit.

You can find our full fixture list on Sky Sports (http://www1.skysports.com/football/teams/tottenhamhotspur/fixtures-results) and the official site of Tottenham Hotspur FC (http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/spurs/News/fixtures-13-14-in-full-19062013.page?).

So, fellow SpursNetworkers, which games are you looking forward to?

All fixtures are subject to change.

I always look  forward to the Arse games, both home and away. It is nice to see that we will already have 6 points by the end of August. :hide: Assuming, of course, that Bale and AVB are still with us and that we have signed a couple of strikers.

I Always look out for the Away games and then I can plan where to go. So with the first two away games look tasty.  :) (Subject to membership points when applying)

Shouldn't I have said 9 points?

I see that our last game is at home.

A good first game for Spurs.

I think the fixtures look quite good for us this year. There are a couple of tough patches. man city and man utd at the end of Nov and Chelsea Ars*nal in March. But everything else looks pretty good. The end of season fixtures look very reasonable and may mean we are less likely to collapse, as we have done too often in the past. Last 6 fixtures are all potential wins.  :)

Yes, but it is good that those tough matches are not at the beginning of the season as it will give us time to settle down the new players.

There aren't easy matches.

You are right. Not only that but I fear those so-called "easy" matches than those against the top 4 teams.

Well to be fair its an easier start than last season. As has been said, a good chance to get off to a really good start to the season.

Is there such a thing as an easy game in the premiership?
Palace and Swansea will be tough games you can say they WERE easy when Spurs have 6 points in the bag.
Positive is good
Assuming is not! ;)

There are no easy matches, but at the same time we've got to be positive; i.e. we aim to win them all.

I reckon the fixtures look good for us this year. A good start and then keep it going for as long as we can. Getting the transfers done double quick this year will be key.

Yes, even though they've given us the dates we can't book anything because sky might change those days.
