I feel sorry for Gomes, the guy is a quality keeper and after a few f**k ups and OTT media slating he lost his confidence and never came back.

He is too good to be no3, is a good keeper and could be a great keeper.

Before many slate him he was our keeper during our first ever remarkable CL run, he holds our records for minutes without conceding at home, recall saves he has pulled off that other top keepers can only dream about.

Yes he made errors all keepers do, his only short falling is not bouncing back or more to the point not getting the chance to under HR!

If he can be sold on a free as he has claimed lets just release him so he is off our wage bill and can get his career back on track!

Keeping him as no 3 is a waste of time as if he is needed to play his heart wont be in it.  He wants out let him go i say.

He is surplus to requirements but he served us well. I hope he gets a club. I presume we will go for another goalkeeper or use one of our youngsters as third choice.

I actually think we need to be looking for a 2nd choice deputy for Lloris, Brad was slipping last season and as we build a solid squad we need a long term no 2 that can step up and cover Lloris as req for me that isnt Brad, i would have gone Gomes but his time is done with us.
