We have a number of players looking good, Holtby ever the hard worker and presses the opposition well, Lamella settling and showing massive improvements each game, Ceballos is looking useful, Kane is making a stake for a strikers role and I hope he gets his chance as I think we will see big things from him this season given the opportunity and a run of games.

    Personally I didn't think we played particularly well, but there were certainly some very encouraging signs, so I think that we all have something positive to look forward to. :up: :up: :up:

I thought they played well considering it was a friendly and also it wasn't there full team. Encouraging in the sense of who could fill injury positions throughout the season. As I said previously; I am very hopeful for the season.

I thought it was a good pre-season friendly. I also thought we played better in the second half. There was a lot to take from the match. It was also good to see both strikers scoring.

Actually there are quite a few bad omens if you look at it that way; however, it is about time we kicked that trend and things went our way. I have a good feeling for this season. I just hope I am not proved wrong.
