Adebayor sending off means a very difficult task to an already extremely difficult task for AVB.

No Ade for the next 3 matches will test him to the limit and if he comes out of it smelling of roses, will we get apologies from the gloom merchants or will we have to eat humble pie and grovel to them?

I think he'll go back to one striker formation now. I wonder if Dempsey will play AM or stay on bench as the back-up strike as we don't have any more strikers bar some youth players.

He also might use one of the younger strikers along with Defoe.
Against Lazio? Maybe. Not in a league game, though.

I`ve deliberatley stayed away from this as i was very , very pissed off but i`ve calmed down now .When all is said and done we know and even the most biased piece of gooner filth knows that if we`d kept 10 men on the pitch we would have smashed them to bits .We were looking good with the 4-4-2(at f**king last !) .We`ve got a better squad and can field a far superior full strenght 11 when everybody`s fit .I felt a bit sorry for AVB as i bet he was thinking how the press were gonna crucify him on sunday morning even though what happened wasn`t his fault .

Having missed all the week-end action, I have just read that ManU lost to the Canaries and Chelsea to WBA. I am not aware of any sendings off in either game (unless someone tells me otherwise) so does this mean that Fergie and Di Mateo have lost the plot and should be sacked forthwith?

I don't think so!

Watched West Ham v Stoke last night. If only we could defend like Stoke do, we would have beaten Ars*nal for sure.

Di Mateo's position at Chelsea IS in the balance!
Maybe AVB should be on his guard !!

I wouldn't be too sure.

And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Regrets, I’ve had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

Maybe so, but even with 10 men we could be defending better than we do. Frankly we are in a mess at the back. Verthonghen is the only defender who looks solid.

Yes, even the manager said that. With players coming back from injuries and the Transfer window opening soon let us keep our fingers crossed.

Of course not . Having said that , you need to win the champions league just to get a pay off at chelsea now it would seem .Sometimes i hate football .
