Tottenham are an English club, Sevilla are a Spanish club. Two very different cultures of football, and each teams gameplay will be different.

Our less-experienced players may find this game tough, however fingers crossed they come through it and perform exceedingly well..

If all our key players "turn up" if you know what I mean, then I don't rate us out of winning the Sevilla game.

I'm an optimist! 2:0 for us. We will take their fortress with 3,000 Spurs fans:gun1: Hope the spanish supporters will be fair. Saw the semi final last year between Seville and FC Schalke. It was an extremely hot atmosphere in the ground. They lost 1:0 in the extra time, Seville went to Eindhoven and beat Boro 4:0! BUT THEY WON'T KEEP THE CUP IN ANDALUSIA THIS YEAR!!!!:spoton:

Your positive thinking pleases me. I hope your right with the 2-0 win, would be wonderful to play at White Hart Lane knowing they have to score two goals to match us.

Come On You Spurs! :)

Midfielder Tom Huddlestone has been ruled out of Tottenham's squad because of a knee injury.

Ledley King, Anthony Gardner, Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Danny Murphy are also injured and Ricardo Rocha is cup-tied.

Teemu Tainio and Mido are back in training after calf problems, while Hossam Ghaly returns from illness.

Keeper Andres Palop, defender Daniel Alves and striker Frederic Kanoute are all expected to start for Sevilla after being rested on Sunday.

Tottenham (from): Robinson, Cerny, Chimbonda, Stalteri, Young-Pyo Lee, Dawson, Zokora, Tainio, Jenas, Ghaly, Malbranque, Taarabt, Lennon, C Lee, Mido, Keane, Defoe, Berbatov.

I think the most likely lineup will be:
GK: Robbo
LB: Lee
RB: Stalteri
CB: Dawson, Chimbonda
LM: Malbranque
RM: Lennon
CM: Zokora, Jenas
ST: Keane, Berbatov

COYS!

Oh yeah I forgot Rocha was out. Chimbo can easily fill in for him though.

TEAM NEWS

Teemu Tainio, Hossam Ghaly and Mido have travelled to Seville and are back in the squad for Thursday night's UEFA Cup quarter-final, first leg.

Midfielders Teemu and Hossam return after a calf injury and illness respectively while striker Mido also returns after calf trouble.

The biggest blow for Martin Jol is the loss of Tom Huddlestone after the midfielder suffered a medial ligament strain against Reading on Sunday. "He won't be involved for at least three weeks," said Martin.

However, the news was positive on the progress of longer-term injuries Ledley King, Benoit Assou-Ekotto, Danny Murphy and Anthony Gardner.

Speaking at Sevilla's Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium before the squad's training session this evening, Martin reported: "Ledley has travelled out with us, he won't be involved but might be available soon.

"Benoit is progressing well after his knee injury, Anthony is off his crutches now and progressing quicker than we expected and Danny is training again and could be involved (at Chelsea) on Saturday. Teemu, Hossam and Mido are all back."

Teemu Tainio has impressed me in games which I have seen him play in, so I have no complaints of him being in the squad.

Ghaly has begun to show a little of what he is made of, so again I have no complaints of him being there for us.

Coys.

If you ask me, I think most likely.. He was given illegible to play for the Chelsea game the weekend was he not? If someone can rectify that then please let me know.. :)

So yeah, I think he will be back in time for the home leg against Sevilla. However, I'm not 100% sure.

He might be having a shock appearence tonight. I have been hearing that MJ was trying to lead them off the trail a bit and think that it would be Chimbo in the middle when in fact Ledders is playing. Not sure what I think about this. Could work both ways for us...On the one hand it could sure up our defence and be a quality move. On the other hand it may be too soon and could get injured again.

Maybe it actually could be true then. Would you be pleased to see him playing though? I thought Chimbonda did a good job at Centre Back when I saw him play there, and I dont think it would even be a problem to sit out Ledders for this one?

I think we should save him for the return game at the lane next week.

It means Stalteri will be playing though so we best be wary.
