FFS Harry leave 3 metre Peter the inept donkey out of the side and play Pav & Defoe. These two really has to show what there worth and get there goal scoring boots on for the ret of the season and if they do, we might be able to get a Europa League spot. Harry is tactically stupid as a manager and choses players over personal relationships. He cannot make a substitution either. We cant keep relying on Bale & VDV for goals, we need to go 4-4-2 and play Pav & Defoe for the rest of the season i think and get them banging them in. Also Corluka at RB, he was mustard last season, as much as i like Hutton, he just cannot defend and Corluka behind Lennon was so effective last season. YID ARMY

Nicely put that sums it all up for me, but ya know he wont leave his fav pet Crouch out much to the damage of our perfromances!

Must win game and we will win it!

so.... 4-4-2 ??.... with Defoe and Pav....and Corluka & Lennon were mustard last season were they ??

not sure that youre self-aware enough to relise you've left out your favourite player... Vaart  :D

no, hang on.... its coming thru now.... you want Vaart to play CM with Modric.... right ??

Keowns right. Who do we sacrifice to drop vdv back to midfield? I dont know if he can play wide left? Its a difficult one. He cant play cm with modric so do you drop mod. Hell no.  Play him wide right and drop lennon. Lennon chips in with the goals so not really a goer either.  Play modric wide left and drop sp with vdv in the centre? Its something that needs to be considered as pav defoe are our only option with 4 4 2. This is harrys call now and somewhere where he falls short consistently. Expect him to give pav a half soon then revert back to long ball tactics to el giraffe.

Whoa hold it there.......... we haven't made it into the last 16 of the Champions League and to 5th in the League with bad tactics and bad player selection. Just because we have had a rough few weeks 'Arry hasn't become a bad manager and the side isn't useless, we need to calm down and put things in perpective. We need to back 'Arry and the team and remember 'Arry sees all the players on a daily basis and has more idea of who's doing what so we need to trust in his selections and judgement otherwise we are going to be in the situation of looking for another manager...........again !!!!!

'Arry tried him wide right but realised pretty quick Van der Vaart is a bit on the nomadic side so gave him licence to roam up front.

               Gomes

Hutton     Gallas    Bassong   BAE

Pienaar   Palacious  Modric   Lennon

             Van der Vaart

                    Defoe

I expect this will be pretty close guess to the team !!!!

I'd say play Pienaar left.

Leave Lennon on the right.

and maybe Give Pav a run of games for once harry. At least give him a chance

Sensational line up V Blackburn as Harry makes the changes after our disaster v Fulham:

                                           Given  (3-4-4)

                                Neville (capt) Woodgate   BAE

                            Beckham  Adams  Forlan  Van Wolfswinkle

                            Rossi   Carroll   Augero Llorente

Subs:  Hulk, Kranch, Corluka, Jenas (I thoughyt somebody was buying him) Gomes, Pav, Crouch Defoe

Blackburn are without Roque Santa Cruz after he tweaked his groin in the FA Cup defeat by Aston Villa.
Ryan Nelsen and Gael Givet will have late fitness tests, while transfer deadline day signings Mauro Formica and Ruben Rochina will not feature.
Tottenham have a defensive crisis as Michael Dawson is suspended, William Gallas is doubtful and Younes Kaboul sidelined following knee surgery.
Jonathan Woodgate could return after 14 months out with a groin injury.

Both clubs bowed out of the FA Cup at the weekend without so much as a whimper and will now turn their attentions to league campaigns that have a lot at stake.
Having started November just outside the relegation zone, Blackburn have rocketed up the table thanks to an erratic run of results that has seen them alternate between victory and defeat.
They now sit eighth, just two places behind Spurs, and new manager Steve Kean has calmly ridden out the storm caused by Sam Allardyce's departure. Although a marquee signing like David Beckham or Ronaldinho has eluded the club's new owners, they must be very pleased by the top-half position Kean has achieved with a squad that were said to be mutinous only weeks ago.
Tottenham's dreams of winning a trophy at Wembley when the year ends in one took a savage blow when they were thrashed by Fulham, meaning their hopes of glory at the famous stadium now rest on reaching the Champions League final in London in May.
Their prospects of qualifying for the tournament again next season have faltered following a run of three league matches without a win. But the fixture computer has been kind and, with none of the top four to face until the middle of April, Harry Redknapp's side will fancy their chances of leapfrogging Chelsea into fourth and dining at the top table of European football for another year.

Absolutely devastating news. Time for Krancjar to step up and get his career at Spurs going again. So thats Jenas, Palacios, Sandro the only 3 established CM!? God could you imagine a midfield of Jenas & Palacios! f**k me that would be terrible. We all have our different opinions but tonight i would go with:
                              Gomes
            Hutton Corluka Bassong BAE
            Lennon Krancjar Pienaar VDV
                           Pav Defoe

Or Sandro in for Pienaar to add some guile to the midfield, Blackburn away is a very tough game and physical. YID ARMY

SomrsetYid.... in our 'golden run' when Arry 1st came to Spurs between Dec-April, the established CM pairing then was none other than Jenas-Palacios..

but a simpleton may not be aware of that.

How about this for a likely Harry scenario...

                           Gomes
Hutton      Woodgate   Bassong    BAE
Lennon         vdV           Jenas       Pienaar
                    Defoe        Crouch

Subs: Corluka (for Woody at CB), Palacios (when Jenas fails), Pav (for Defoe much to our chagrin)....Niko misses out again.

my exact team predicted.... apart from naughtyboy Hutton being put on the naughty-step

we are ordinary with this setup.... Gomes has saved Arry's flawless firm skin...

Vaart, Corluka look like old men limping after the toilet, Defoe is a lost little boy at the bus-stop waiting for his Mum...Lennon not at his best at LM....

we just got hugely lucky today, thanks to Gomes....Europa League it is I'm afraid..

nope didnt download it and am kinda reluctant to is it safe???

I watched the game yesterday using the 1st SOPcast channel provided. SOPCast (when a channel is available) is always more stable than the mediaplayer links with no ads and much better picture quality - Just takes a minute to buffer at first. I usually keep multiple feeds going and select the best audio so that I don't miss much if one goes down. Actually, Veetle links are absolutely the best IMO when you can find them. What's your opinion of Veetle, Biggs? Any chance of putting those up in the future?

I've been paying $14.99 a month for foxsoccer.tv in addition to what I'm already paying for the cable channels. I get most games on one or the other. Maybe I should ditch the 14.99 web package and start trying streams. Then again that would probably be blocked by the firewall at work so I'll probably stick with it.

@Metal - It WAS a pic of Crouch playing basketball. NOW it's a picture of Crouchie riding a bull.

@ ASF - I refuse to pay Comcast another $15 bucks / month just for Fox Soccer Plus. I have FSC in my pkg anyway and the streams are free.

I don't like it, but missing the games is a far worse fate and I'm sure the streams would be blocked where I work.

Because they rarely played.

Bentley didnt play cos we usually have someone called Lennon playing RM, who is rather good at it..

Keano didnt play much cos for that role we have Defoe, who is also better..

'fans' need to realise that you can only field 11 players per team.
