Post by: keane on berbatov on April 09, 2007, 04:09:13 PM
Mines York City as ive been brought up here pretty much my whole life. Theyre doing well in the conference at the moment too...Playoff spots lol.

Was always taught as a kid to support the mighty spurs though and they will always be my first choice but anybody else got any?

Obviously I have a thing for any team with Canadian players :p But the one non-Prems team that really does it for me is Walsall, not because they have Geordie Lyall, but because my great-grandmother was born and raised there. :) Also have both family history and friends in Mansfield, so I have more-than-casual interest in them as well.

Crawley Town. I occasionally go and watch em they have a decent ground and if it wasn't for a 10 point deduction they may even have made the conference play offs I would love to see em in the league and drawing Spurs in the Carling cup. Although theres no chance of me having divided loyalties.

I live in Shoebury, 4 miles down the road from Southend. I don't really have a soft spot for them but I always check out their scores. Looks like they'll be relegated which is a shame after two previous great seasons.

COYS - where do you live?

Well, it's not a very low league-club, but i like Sunderland AFC. I know a diehard Sunderland-fan, who drives 7 hours to get to every homematch of 'em, and also because of him I do like Sunderland.....

Rochdale is cool too, btw :groupwave reversed:

AFC Bournemouth, will never forget seeing the League 2 Play off final, beat Lincoln 5-2. Like Spurs they are a good footballing side. Derren Anderton pulls the strings in Midfield.

I was born and brought up in Swindon so I always look out for their results. Unless things go disasterously wrong, then hopefully they'll be promoted to league 1 this season

You'll be happy to know that they've survived to play another season in the Conference South, because they had superior goal differential to Hayes

Yeh i've got a soft spot for leyton orient aswell. I live in Woodford, which is pretty close to Leyton and so have been to see some of their matches a few times this season. Thet're a good team byut have the bad habit of letting a goal in the last few minutes of the match. This has happened 9 times this season alone, mostly from a winning position. This bad habit put them at risk of being relegated from League 1, but they just survived. They've even beaten the likes of Nottingham Forest this season.

I was born in Boston, who just got relegated 2 leagues for a whole bunch of bazaar reasons.

I lived in Lincoln and I have family there so I look for the resullts of both these teams..

Now being in Milton Keynes - we stole Wimbledon as you all know - I drive past the new stadium on the way to work everyday, And i have to say its looking impressive!

The stadium is due to host The Alan Ball Memorial Cup on July 29th in line with the citys 40th birthday. Its looking to be a star studded event that im trying to get tickets for:D

It will also be live on Sky

I have worked in the response squad at the memorial ground, my last game there was what was supposed to be their final home league game a couple seasons ago before the bulldozers came in for re-development.  That all fell through closed season.  And I quit as the bloke I worked for was a total muppet and has no place being in the security industry as he is totally f**king clueless and so full of shyte has last name should be sewer.

Crawley Town are my local club. Did pretty well at Man U certainly were not out classed albeit by a second string team. Should get promoted to the football league barring a complete collapse and will be interesting to see how they get on and what improvements they make to the ground.

I do not think that Bebe would make the Crawley Town squad based on the United game.
