Can't see Beattie getting into our team, he is rubbish and does not get in the first team at Everton. No way should we sell JJ but I do agree that if we sign VDV then he should not play.

Beattie for jenas!No chance! JJ has had his critics but will do well as squad player next season. Everton can have ghaly/murphy for £10m!

Despite how much i like Jenas, if we do have a quality cm lined up who (in the sale of jenas) we can promise a 1st team spot then i say 10million is well worth it.

Agreed, as long as we have a quality palyer ligned up, and are signging, I could understand his departure, though I think Ghaly and Murphy are better to get rid of.

I`d let him go for 10 mill no problem. Don`t know if MJ would see it that way though, I think he likes Jenas, specially his goals from midfield.

That's freaky. In my roster-editing for TCM, I sent Jermaine Jenas to Everton. He's not there anymore, but still... :unsure: Not sure if it'll happen, but if it does it'll be the umpteenth time something that happened previously in a sports game ended up happening for real.

FORMER Chelsea striker Eidur Gudjohnsen is the latest player to be linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.

The Icelandic international has failed to become a regular in the Barcelona side since his switch to La Liga and could be set for a return to London.

Spurs are keen to close the gap on the top four in the Premiership and are reported to be ready to move for Gudjohnsen during the summer.

If Gudjohnsen comes we should really start thinking whether the board wants Berba !! He's not coming unless guaranteed regular place. Gudjohnsen already has the experience on being on the bench in Barca and it ain't quite easy to break with the competition from Berba, Keano and Defoe around here ...

From what I know if we do buy him we ain't gonna play him up front we may play him as an attacking midfielder.

Actually I think that would be a fantastic buy, Gudjohnsson style of play is exactly the way we play our football, quick, to feet, intelligent round the corner balls, I think he'd fit in well here, it's just where to play him?

He's a top player, always liked him but he's quite a lot like Berba. Obviously Berba is much better but their style of play is very similar. I don't see him as an attacking midfielder myself, didn't really work when he did it for chelsea. Plus I reckon Keane would do a better job there.

If we didn't have Berba I would say definitely go for him.

I really cant see martin jol selling jenas he loves him and i would hate to see beattie at tottenham i could not think of anything worse

Why would Jenas want to go?

Maybe more money that would be the only reason.

Oh no not Gudjohnssen I hated him when he was at Chelsea.He came across as a right cocky b*****d. I'm not sure I could bring myself to cheer him if he was a Spurs player.
