I like the sound of Levy being persuaded to speculate to accumulate, and they seem to be going after some impressive targets.

Yeh and it seems this time round we are buying better players compared to last season, as Bale, Boateng, Kaboul and Bent weren't really that well known, whereas Dos Santos is widely known around Europe and so is Modric. Dunne isn't but he's an experienced premiership defender who shouldn't take much time to adapt to the prem, which is exactly what we need.
Get Moussa Sissoko In Spurs!!!!

And come on City, break that bloomin' top 4!

Unpredictability: an asset in a forward; a curse in a defender.
There's more to life than the bloody Champions League

if robbo is goalkeeper next season then ramos has obviously not identified and fixed our goal conceding problems. im sorry because he has been a great character for the club and i do rele like him but hasnt been in form for under two years now and we can do a lot better in coupet, who ive seen play for lyon quite a few matches on setanta this season and he is a quality, experienced goalkeeper, just what we need for the moment.

If we sighn young talets like we are doing we might actully have a chance  next season.
o.h and one cool fact i just found out.
Giovanni dos santos father told the spanish press that if giovanni goes to tottenham the whole family moves to the UK. now here is the good part he also said that giovanni's brother Jonathan dos santos will join the youth squad of tottenham if the deal was to go thru.. Jonathan is 17 years old is the star mid fielder for the barcelona youth squad. He is very very highly rated. Even Zinzino dos santos the father of giovanni and jonathan said that jonathan has a bit more skill. so this could be a 2 for 1 deal.

Sweet!

Even if we don't sign his brother, i'd still be ecstatic with his signing.

Yeh I've heard that his younger brother is twice as good as Giovanni was at his age (basically he's better)!

Exactly right TWH90 thats the only reason they are letting Dos Santos go as his brother is apparently much much better.

So, Amelia won't be playing for Spurs because he signed for Palermo.

Cisse Wants England Return

Djibril Cisse has his heart set on a return to England, his agent has confirmed, with Portsmouth and Tottenham possible destinations.

The 26-year-old striker has spent the last two seasons in France with Marseille after leaving Liverpool.

But now Cisse, who missed out on a place in France's squad for Euro 2008, is keen to return to the Premier League.

"Djibril's main priority is to come back to England," Ranko Stojic told Portsmouth's News.

"We've had some very interesting offers from Spain but he is very, very motivated to play in the Premier League again.

"Portsmouth were interested in Djibril last season and so were Manchester City and West Ham - that was then, though, and this is now.

"There are maybe three or four teams like Portsmouth and Tottenham who he would play for.

"He wants to play at the highest level and have European football.

"The Champions League would be good, but so would a team in the UEFA Cup now with ambitions of playing in the Champions League."

No thank you. Only as 4th choice striker and that is it

RAMOS LOOKS TO SPAIN AND HOLLAND
Juande Ramos is going shopping in Spain.

The Independent brings news that Tottenham 'hope to tie up a £8m deal for Seville's left-winger Diego Capel who is top of their list of transfer targets while they wait to see how the Dimitar Berbatov saga plays out.'

Capel is described as 'a left-footed, left-sided player whom Tottenham see as ideal to their rebuilding this summer'.

And Ramos is also keen on recruiting Heurelho Gomes, the £10m-rated PSV Eindhoven goalkeeper, according to The Guardian.

'The goalkeeper, whose arrival would spell the end for Paul Robinson, is already familiar to Tottenham fans, having saved a penalty from Jermaine Jenas in PSV's shoot-out victory over them in the Uefa Cup last 16 in March. Tottenham appear to have been priced out of the market for the Espanyol keeper Carlos Kameni and they are keen to drive the price down for Gomes,' the newspaper reports.

Oh, and that's not all. If The Guardian is to be believed, 'The club maintain a serious interest in the Real Zaragoza striker Diego Milito and also hope to sign Lassana Diarra from Portsmouth and David Bentley from Blackburn Rovers.'

If we could seal all of them we would be sorted, with an immense team for next season.
