If I have read the papers right - and I only glanced at the headlines - the referee - who refereed the Chelsea v Man United game - accused a Spanish player of being "a Spanish tit". If that is correct then that wording cannot be construed as racist. If he called him a Spanish n**** then fair enough. If it is as I said it then Chelsea or the Spanish player is taking the piss.
If I've got it wrong and there was more to it then please correct me.

Sounds like the Scum are trying to get their own back after the John Terry affair to me.
Also of course they were beaten!!!!

Somehow, I would be extremely surprised if a ref such as Clattenberg would be guilty of racial slurs towards any player.
This ref is well know for his bigger than life ego and making huge cock-ups, some big ones against us, but just the same, I cannot see him wishing to "commit suicide" in this way.

Exactly! This would be a real shot in the leg considering the events during the last year (Evra vs Suarez, Terry vs Ferdinand et al, England vs Serbia U21).

I'll go along with the above replies.
