Penalty Decisions
« on: November 29, 2012, 03:49:59 PM »
Has anyone noticed that we're getting really lucky with not having penalty decisions go against us this season?

I'm not complaining obviously, but it seems like we're getting away with what could easily be penalties against us every game! I can't think of the exact examples, but I remember handballs in the box, defenders hauling players down in the box, etc.

Could have had two against us yesterday.

I say keep up the good work, refs!

Gallas tackle was clean and not penalty, and the other one 50-50 at worst

I'm not saying they WERE penalties. I'm saying they've been given and we seem to be getting awfully lucky with some of the decisions this season.

I think the most blatant one was the one at Old Trafford. I think it was Nani who should have had one.

Definitely not complaining!

Exactly!

Although I hope I haven't jinxed us now.

My thoughts exactly...... hey we will all blame you when we lose due to a shyte ref decision instead of AVB.  :up:

Let hope our luck keeps up over not receiving penalties against us. I remember a time when we kept getting penalties against us.
I’ve lived a life that’s full. I’ve travelled each and every highway;
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Regrets, I’ve had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

Funny you should say that! Dawson has given a few away in the past. As he is injured, we are safe for at least one game.   :lol:

No different to all the perfectly good goals we've had disallowed over the years. Video ref would sort it out overnight, look at Rugby Union.

Prime recent example all our disallowed goals against Lazio over 2 legs, which is surely a record too
