The Australian A league kicked off on Saturday. The New Zealand team the Wellington Phoenix came back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with the Melbourne Victory who are the current champions. The teams web site is yellowfever.co.nz
Papakura City u19 [my sons club team ] finished second, thanks to a great final third of the season. He is currently away with his school team at tornament week and they have just qualified for the quarter finals. Not bad as his school team is not that good

Ahh its good to be back. And in case you didn't know the Kiwis are goin to he world cup. The 1-0 victory over bahrain has sent the country into a collective frenzy.
