I know some people will be glad that Dawson doesn't start, but I was hoping to see him get his deserved debut and first cap tonight in what is (lets be fair) a meaningless fixture. 

Can someone please explain what John Terry has to do to be dropped?  Maybe murder someone? or be found to be the spawn of a goat and a slow-witted farmhand?

Dawson got a chance to shine and to be honest, he blew it. His mistake was truly bad. Time to get King and Woodgate in shape for England  :P

I think that's harsh.  Full debut nerves and all.  He messed up the initial challenge but he got back and he cleared the ball off the line.  It's hardly his fault the officials had another moment of ineptitude.
