Lenglet joins Tottenham on loan, with more to follow
We secured our fifth summer signing after confirming a season-long loan deal for Clement Lenglet.
The 27-year-old has been at Barcelona for four seasons, winning the La Liga and the Copa del Rey trophies. He has 15 caps for France and now joins Ivan Perisic, Richarlison, Yves Bissouma and Fraser Forster as new signings.
And we haven’t finished for this Summer transfer window either; with more coming in and some going out.
We have set an asking price of between £8.4m to £10.1m for Japhet Tanganga, with AC Milan showing interest in a potential transfer. Then there is Jack Clarke and Harry Winks, to name but three.
Daniel Levy already working on five more deals according to various reports. Such as: Memphis Depay. Recent reports say that the Dutchman could come to Spurs. Depay is likely to be sold by Barcelona as he has just one year left on his contract and the club are struggling under financial fair play rules. He has previously spent two seasons with United struggle.
Then there is Alessandro Bastoni. However, some have questioned whether we will get him now as Lenglet has arrived… but if not now, maybe for next season.
Whatever the speculations about who is coming or not, we are not yet finished in the transfer window.
COYS!
