Lautaro Martinez wants to play for the Spurs (and a bit about him)
According to Football Insider, Lautaro Martinez has made it clear to Inter Milan that he wants to move to Tottenham as soon as possible.
Such reports first emerged on Sunday just gone that Tottenham had agreed on a fee with Inter Milan for the player, but the Serie A club have now maintained the striker is not for sale. Then Alasdair Gold tried to clarify the situation by saying that we had agreed on a €60m (£50.9m) fee with his club, but Chelsea then paid £100m for Romelu Lokaku, which changed things. Even though Martinez wants to move to our club, his future will be decided by his current club.
Gold’s employers, Football Insider, have reinstated that Martinez still wants to move. They reported that the player has his ‘heart set’ on going to Tottenham.
Martinez has also told – it is alleged – his inner circle that he wants to leave Inter Milan to join us and even made it clear in discussions with them (his current club), as well. But nothing is ever that easy where Spurs are concerned.
