One in, one out
Christian Romero
Fabrizio Romano, the Italian football journalist, has confirmed that we have had a bid accepted for Cristian Romero.
We paid was €50million for the player, with a further €5million in add-ons. The Atalanta FC are closing on on a deal to replace Romero with Juventus’ Merih Demiral. Which will see the player on a loan deal that includes the option to make it permanent.
Fabio Paratici stepped up talks to bring the player to Spurs; his teammate, goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini has already joined us (Sky Sports).
Romero scored three goals and made five assists in 42 appearances in all competitions for the club. His performances saw him crowned Serie A’s ‘Defender of the Season’ (transfermarkt).
Joe Hart
Joe Hart (34-years-old) has completed his move to Celtic. He moved to Spurs while Jose Mourinho was at the club. He joined on a free transfer after his contract at Burnley came to an end. Celtic have stated that they signed him on a three-year contract.
While with Tottenham, Hart was the understudy to Hugo Lloris last season; this s because Paulo Gazzaniga left the club. His ten outings coming in the Europa League and FA Cup.
Joe Hart was informed that he was not wanted by Nuno Espirito Santo for the upcoming campaign. We had already moved to bring in Atalanta’s Pierluigi Gollini on a season-long loan deal with the option to buy.
Hart was very much liked in the Tottenham dressing room.
We wish Hart well and welcome in Romero.
Stay safe, Glenn

Hi Roger,
That is brilliant news about Frank Saul, and that it was because of him that you are a Spurs fan. He was a very good player and loyal.
Maybe we had pumped into each other at some time. Do you go at the moment?
