Juventus and Spurs battle it out over players
Juventus are eyeing two strikers that are also linked to us.
The two players that are of interest are Gabriel Jesus and Dusan Vlahovic, as reported in European sports journals.
Juventus are looking at potential replacements if they lose Cristiano Ronaldo this summer, with Jesus and Vlahovic among the names on the Serie A club’s wishlist. Manchester City set to push ahead with a move for Harry Kane; Jesus wants a move away to get some decent playing time. Reports in the press have indicated that Jesus could be used by City as a deal for Kane.
But it doesn’t end there, according to the press, Vlahovic, who plays for Fiorentina, in which he netted 21 goals in 37 appearances, has also reportedly caught our eye (TEAMtalk). It has been claimed back in April (as relayed by Sport Witness) that we had already contacted the 21-year-old’s agent over a potential move.
Thoughts
Personally, before any decisions are made, we should wait until we get a new manager. Whoever we get has to fit into the new manager’s formation.
A lot of our transfer plans will also have to depend on what will happen to Kane?
As for Vlahovic, he could be an option to play as an understudy for Kane for one season before stepping up to be the main striker if or when Kane leaves.
All the best, Glenn
