Events, dear boy, events; return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
Money is returning to the stadium, and it will be in abundance. Yes, a major sporting event will return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium later this year. The NFL have announced that they will resume their NFL London Games this year with two matches to be held in N17.
The Jacksonville Jaguars and Atlanta Falcons will both return and stage their home matches at the stadium.
The deal to host NFL matches at Wembley expired at the end of last year, with our club chosen as the only venue for this year’s games. The Falcons will face the New York Jets on Sunday 10 October, while the Jaguars take on the Miami Dolphins on Sunday 17 October, and they will be kicking off at 2.30pm.
But this will not be the last as people will be working behind the scenes to bring more events before the year is over. This will give much-needed income to Levy and the club.
What is more important, is that we – the fans – return as quickly as possible. There will be a trial fan base (of 10,000) for next weeks home game against Aston Villa. Then when the new season opens, hopefully, the golden gates will open for all.
It is finally here, a new super book about the greats, Glories and all you want to know about the Tottenham great players (we are not worthy!) who have graced White Hart Lane and beyond. Sixty years ago this month, the Greatest Football club in the world won the double with probably the most outstanding team on this planet.
Has your eye’s seen the Glory? If yes (or even no) click HERE and follow the link, then they/ you will, and for those that are longer in the tooth (in other words, old like me)…. be prepared to be dazzled all over again!
COYS!
All the best, Glenn
