Bale, Wales and Mourinho fined & banned (suspended).
Our Gareth Bale will be available for his up and coming games for Wales.
As you will know, Bale was pictured with an icepack on his ankle after we played West Brom on Sunday. Worrying concerns.
But Wale’s Robert Page, who is in charge for the three matches in the absence of Ryan Giggs, says only Aaron Ramsey and Ben Cabango have dropped out of the squad.
In my article, “Is trickery afoot?” I said, “Jose Mourinho is very annoyed with Arsenal coach Albert Stuivenberg’s being put in charge of our players.
Yes, the enemy – our enemy – is going to be put in charge of Bale, Ben Davies and Joe Rodon as they are in Wales’ latest squad. Of course, I wouldn’t dream of suggesting that something untoward is going on here (heavens above!!), however, it does look sinister.” You can read more of that article here: article/blog.
Wales coaching team said they would make sure that Bale is looked after; So, all eyes will be on Robert Page and his Arsenal assistant if Bale should get injured.
Jose Mourinho will be given a suspended one-match European ban
Jose Mourinho has been given a suspended one-match ban in European competition. UEFA said he was responsible for the late kick-off of our Europa League match when we faced Royal Antwerp on 29 October. The suspended ban will last for one year, plus we were also fined £25,000.
It is not known at this stage whether Spurs/ Mourinho will appeal.
As you all know, we lost the game 1-0, but top Group J on goal difference from Belgian side Antwerp and LASK of Austria.
So that is it folks, until we meet again, take care and live long and prosper.
