Hi to all, I hope everybody is well and in good spirits? We haven’t got a lot to crow about lately; nevertheless, we can only keep fighting on. This article/ blog is on Eric Dier’s ban and fine, plus my review of our games against Bournemouth and Spurs. I also give my prediction (for what it is worth). I have been very downcast of late, Especially the way we seem to be going. Yes, it is going to be a struggle to get into the Europa League. Even if we do well and win all our games, we still need to rely on the other teams to fall on their swords. All we’ve got left now is hope… and a few bottles of wine to damped any lurking disasters. Stay safe and look after yourselves. Best Regards, Glenn

Eric Dier ban and Review of the Bournemouth/ Spurs game (9th July).
For those that haven’t got sky, like me, this match is on normal TV/ Pick.
A game we must win on Thursday, or we will be in big shit… but I seem to be saying that every time I write something—the sad state of affairs we’ve found ourselves in at Spurs of late.
First of all, let us deal with the team News;
Bournemouth
Eddie Howe is awaiting news on whether defenders Steve Cook, Simon Francis, Chris Mepham and Jack Simpson will be fit. Their forward Callum Wilson returns after serving a two-match suspension and is expected to replace Dominic Solanke.
Tottenham
Dele Alli faces a fitness test on the hamstring injury which caused him to sit out Monday’s match with Everton. Juan Foyth and Japhet Tanganga remain on the sidelines. Dier, I believe, will be banned immediately. Only the last game of this campaign will he be available. That is against Palace away.
Thoughts and prediction….
